Sunday evening status from Command - a few days after the week-one round-two note. Shared space is still the point of this cohort. Here is what landed for commanders since then, and who made the Relay loud in the best way.
Thank you - especially NetQuake and Keeument
Every ticket helps, and several commanders have been sharp this week. I want to call out two names who filed the most, and who paired bugs with real ideas instead of only screenshots: NetQuake and Keeument. Mobile launch pad and upgrade friction, scanner charge pools, colony rearrange, screenshot attachments, phase-press labels, depot and duration questions - a lot of what shipped below started as your Relay threads. Thank you for the volume and for the craft. Keep pressing; I am reading.
What shipped since Thursday
Player-facing work, not only bench notes. Highlights:
- Deeper planet scans and orbit finds - scan dossiers carry more usable intel, and ancestral residue in orbit can be recovered when you sit adjacent with a fleet after you have scanned.
- A scanned-planets archive on the map - browse past worlds, jump to them, and read scan age from pin corner dots (fresh green, aging orange, stale red).
- Resource stacks use a clearer color and shape language - raw, refined, liquid, and alloy marks match across HUD, costs, and colony flow. Orizin and Frurozin no longer fight iron and gold for the same accents. Reference: /docs/resource-colors.
- Refineries run about ten times slower so mining is not eaten by the mill, peer refineries share scarce ore fairly, and phase converters work on matching stock instead of a tiny recipe allowlist.
- Long-press rearrange on the colony surface to move or swap buildings (headquarters stays at the core), plus mobile launch-pad, research-tree, and support-attachment fixes that kept phones from becoming a second job.
Why the climb still feels heavy
If refining feels like a trickle and second worlds still take planning, that is intentional for this alpha. I want the map - scan, salvage, settle - to matter more than a homeworld spreadsheet race. Watch /release-log for the short bullets; this post is for the story between versions.
Keep breaking orbit
File Command relay when orbit residue, scan freshness, rearrange, or the slower refine ladder feels unfair rather than deep. Thank you for the patience while exploration tools catch up to colonisation.
