Geothermal tapping is a bet that the crust holds still long enough to be useful. Most worlds oblige; the interesting ones do not.

It is the first power source that does not care about weather, orbit, or the time of day - and colonies notice immediately.

What it does

A single-level gate that unlocks the Geothermal power plant and gates Nuclear power. Requires a Frubin collector in place.

Costs shown for the first level. Later levels scale up and can demand higher-tier materials.
